Incorporated in 1988, Tesla Power and Automation, Inc. was founded to provide local large industrial and utility companies quality electrical and power distribution products, with projects ranging from small-scale prefabricated buildings to complete turnkey installations.

In 1999, Integrated Electrical Services (IES) expanded its portfolio by aquiring Tesla Power. IES is the largest provider of electrical contracting companies in the U.S. with over 9,000 employees in over 140 locations. Now a wholly-owned subsidiary of IES, Tesla partners with IES, developing strategies to bring quality products to its growing marketplace. Integrated Electrical Services is exchanged on NASDAQ under the ticker symbol IESC.

Tesla Power currently has its products installed throughout the U.S., and now has a worldwide presence, with clients in Venezuela, Columbia, China, Tunisia, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait.
